Friday: Rab

We set off from Zagreb this morning.  After a three hour drive to the coast, and a 12 minute ferry ride we are now on the island of Rab.

Rab is lovely and you will see more over the next few days but, for now, let me say - our accommodation is (insert word of choice) freezing!  We are renting a little apartment while we are here and Croatians firmly believe that anything on the coast does not need central heating!  I am typing this in bed with pyjamas on, a pair of socks and two jumpers.  Added to that, we are currently bickering over the brandy bottle!

We are also here a tad pre-season - we found a sum total of one restaurant open this evening.  I suspect will be seeing them the next few nights too!
