Doon the valley, but where?

We are up north for a couple of nights however I cannot recall exactly where this was taken.  Somewhere south of Glencoe, looking westish.

Now in our hotel in Beauly, hoping it livens up soon.  Due to eat shortly but there are no others in the bar or restaurant.  What does that suggest, I wonder.
