Morning Glory

Day four of the Lakeland Pilgrimage.
Up early, me and the dog. Out before the sun breasted the Grisedale Forest heights but in good time to catch it beaming across the Western fells. The glory of Lakeland in Autumn is beyond words. Beyond my ability to capture it on camera. It is spiritual and often overwhelming.
I love it.
Hollie is running, chasing something I can't see, out of shot. So I just content myself with a snapshot of the scene from the old railway track which is now one of the best short walks I know. With views like this it is hard to beat.

Possibility of seeing the Aurora tonight, fingers crossed. It is a bit cloudy just now but forecast is for clearer skies later. We saw it once in the early eighties. Very special indeed. What are my chances of getting a photograph...

As always, huge thanks to you lovely people for the stars and hearts and kind words. I very much appreciate your time and encouragement. Thank you.
