Abstract Thursday ...

... fallen leaves.

Today's weather was pleasant enough for me to spend some time outside on the deck and in the yard. I still had to wear a coat but the sun was warm on my back.

I sat on the floor of the deck (on a heated cushion!) and was shooting the birds and squirrels from a slightly hidden position.  We had rearranged the feeders in the back adding a branch that I had hoped the birds would land on.  I only had a couple today but as they get used to it I hope that will increase. Watch this space.

As I sat on the deck I saw these lovely colored leaves in the grass.  I played with the photo in Topaz Studio to abstract it a little more. Thanks to Ingeborg for faithfully hosting Abstract Thursday each week.

We had dinner out at a familiar Italian restaurant but we were both disappointed in our meals.  We've had great meals here in the past but tonight's meals were very bland.  Maybe next time ...
