AND THEY'RE OFF!

Today was the 43rd annual American Cancer Society Run/Walk held at Road America, America's National Park of Speed. No race cars this weekend so it was a nice safe place to run without traffic interference.

Nearly 1,800 runners/walkers ran the hilly 4 mile (6.4+km) course this year and they raised an astonishing amount of money for the Cancer Society.

I wish I had some Extras remaining so I could share a few more photos of this fantastic event. It was cold with a strong wind...but no rain or snow. Last year the event was held virtually due to COVID and the year before it snowed like crazy...so much so that participants were having difficulty driving up the hills to the parking lot.

For several year before the snow, it was cold and rainy. I don't mind cold and I don't mind rain....but not together.
