We got up and braved the drizzle to go and grab a couple of coffees from the bakery first thing.

At lunch time we wandered along to North Street for some pre-rugby lunch in the Standard with Paul, Elly and Bill. We met a couple of Paul’s friends further along the road and made our way to Ashton Gate together. It wasn’t the most exciting match ever, but the Bears won quite decisively - and Elly was very happy with her huge double pint.

Back to the Tobacco Factory for a couple of drinks, and we were joined there by Sam and Nath. It was getting pretty stormy by this point, so we Ubered back up to Bill’s house for pizza and the England v Tonga match on catchup. Burly was there too, so lots of double-pup cuteness (extras).
