Acer Leaves

I had hoped to blip some big skies today, but after a few rays of sunshine early on, it’s been a day of unremitting grey. And so I’ve turned to the little acers in our garden, small in size but punching way above their weight in colour. The breeze makes super-focused shots a challenge, so instead I opt for a more impressionistic look, and reject the brilliant reds in favour of the green-golds and the bronze.

Thank you of much for your kind words about my health. I’m certainly feeling far more comfortable by now, though I have the vice-like headache I link with a fairly hefty steroid dose. I now this will soon pass, but I expect a sleepless night! (I really must stop moaning …….!)
