All that glitters is not gold: Abstract

Getting closer to my subject to increase the abstract. 
Some years' ago, I took a class on creating abstracts and we were always told to move in very close or only take a partial shot of something.  No fancy post editing was used or encouraged.  So I love today's idea of just getting up close and choosing our angle.
