Today was rather dominated by the whereabouts of the RAC man. 

When my sister arrived here yesterday she'd had trouble with her car on the way and had phoned the breakdown operator first thing this morning. Over the course of the day the eta was put back and back, until eventually he wasn't expected until 4pm. At that point we went out for a walk, just a couple of miles from the cottage, up onto the slate tips, down to and over the road and back along a parallel footpath.See extra for view up the Llanberis pass.

The RAC eventually arrived at about 5pm, towed the car away and my sister can collect the hire car on Monday morning. A bit of a wasted day, but as a result of us waiting in we completed huge chunks of the jigsaw started yesterday!
