Swans incoming

On the River Severn at Bewdley. We love this town so when we are staying in the vicinity we always pay a visit. A stroll by the River, a walk through the Jubilee gardens, a sit in the air raid shelter?, talking to potters, silversmiths and more along the museum walk, lots of window shopping and finally with a mug of steaming hot chocolate we sat by the River, people and bird watching. So, so many gulls, swans and ducks to be observed.

I'm planning a trip to stay a few days with my #2 daughter, son-in-law and Lily starting next weekend and as M, son-in-law, will be away for a couple of the days it's going to be just us girls - Mr HB is quite ok with it!! With my cataract and decreasing eye sight I've decided not to drive so got on the Train app and have booked my return journey and seats without a hitch - all clever stuff!

Extras: stunning crochet poppy in the jubilee gardens and an immature Black Headed Gull, ever hopeful for a crumb, or two.
