Phase 1 Day 16. Previously mentioned that Sundays are for submitting progress photos to my Coach. This was one of the silly poses I did after the required front, side and back shots. This was partially inspired by a Timehop photo from 10 years ago, a double exposure shot of my reflection in a coffee shop where city lights registered as bokeh on a nifty fifty. Haven't really made an effort on creating self portraits these days apart from the daily mirror selfie/progress photo as required by the 75Hard Program.

Did not really want to blip this particular photo because it looks silly in my eyes but still chose to share it because it is recommended to do something you are uncomfortable with every day and also this is the one B chose among the other silly poses which is a practice of trust.

Listening to Andrea of the Make It Simple Podcast talking about how negative thought affects health in a way that it impairs one's ability to think, reason and form memories. She also mentioned that according to a study done by the American Academy of Neurology, you also increase the risk your chances of getting dementia later in life. Negative thoughts as per the previous book I read is normal but we do have the ability to get better at shaking it off and focusing on moving towards the positive/uplifting parts. Andrea mentioned the 6 most common negative thoughts that usually comes across and I recognize at least a couple that I am guilty of. Still working on how to better switch negative feeling/thought to neutral if not positive but then again coming from imagining how Anthony Bourdain did it to looking for yoga tutorials again, I think I have somehow made progress.

T is currently on a self-declared digital detox. He said it's for 3 days but then suddenly said maybe he'll just aim for two.
