Don't forget to remember

A calm, dull start to the day, but a chilly wind with it as we walked down to the sea front for the Remembrance Sunday march from the Corran Halls along to the War Memorial.

The event was cancelled last year due to the lockdown and was supposed to be toned down this year, but there was a good turnout in spite of the chilly weather.

A moving occasion as always and a lot of different groups laying wreaths, including a boy and girl from the High School.

The Oban Lifeboat always sits offshore during the parade and I caught her coming back to her usual anchorage off the War Memorial after zooming out to sea before the event and returning beside the Kerrera light. This is my extra today.

Raining this afternoon, so we were lucky to get a dry morning for the parade.
