Surprise!

See what I found in one of the traps this morning: meet Benny, first cousin to twins Alice and Ollie. Benny is the 7th brown field mouse relocated from our laundry/furnace area. The second trap was also visited but due to a setup error (yes, Eunice), #8 got away. Just when we thought we were in the clear… • Cousin Benny was relocated to a different luxury resort, nearer the Boat Landing, because it’s closer to home for us. The long scenic drive to the Power Lines where all of the other six Browns are living was becoming a bit inconvenient. Perhaps we’ll find Benny a companion or two tomorrow to keep him company • We had a busy day of grocery and Christmas shopping. Our goal is to get everything mailed out by the end of the week. Then, what’s next on the Holiday To-Do List? Cards! • With Thanksgiving coming next week, we saw many locations already setting up their areas to sell trees, wreaths and garland. ‘Tis the season :)
