A view from Jeanneb

Early Thursday walk

A wet and fairly miserable day but the leaf fall in St Ives woods, seen here as we climbed to Lady Blantyre’s rock, still looked great.

We were a little later than usual as, sadly, Wilsden Walker is still suffering isolation with Covid. At the usual time, half an hour earlier it wouldn’t be light enough to take this photo. Ahead is V and one of her dogs, Dizzy or Pip, with M the token male in our ladies walking group.
It was reasonably sheltered in the woods but pretty wet walking across the field.
Fed the swans and ducks at Coppice Pond, all the juveniles were still there and one of last years plus the Swan and Penn.
They seemed ready for their breakfast this morning.

Later we went across to Guiseley for our M & S shop. When I got home some wool yarn had been delivered for Grace’s Christmas present. Another ballet wrap cardigan but not in bright pink!
