Their last night (maybe) under our roof.

The removal vans left Bristol at 12.00noon today.
They arrived up here at 4.00pm.
Took them 3 hours to pack up this morning. At the moment four very excited grandchildren and their parents are now at their new home supervising, (or hindering! ;-) ) the unpacking with the men who are presently installing the contents of the vans into their house.
It will have been a long day for them by the time they drive in their empty vans back down the motorway.
Stephen drove our son to Bristol early on, leaving just after 7.30am and they returned by 4.15pm. They also did some some cleaning at their old house, once the men had left at lunchtime.
I’ve just sorted out the children’s room ready for them to go straight to bed when they eventually come back this evening.
The fact that three of them shared the loft bedroom space for two months was definitely long enough in their eyes! (Main photo)
“Can’t wait to have my own room!” So said the two eldest, 10 and almost 9. The two youngest will share a bigger room for now.
The main en-suite for their parents.
It has felt very strange after a hectic day looking after the children along with their mum, after they all went off with the key to their new property. High as kites!
Stephen and I had a very quiet evening meal!
So thankful that it has all now worked out.
We’ll be able to go and help tomorrow and have a tour!
For now it will be an early night for me!
So very very thankful that they finally made it up here to live.
