Reunion with old friends.

We spent most of yesterday helping out the family, and things are gradually beginning to get more sorted out at their house.
So MANY boxes to unpack!
Still not finished.
As they do not post photos of themselves nor our grandchildren anywhere on sites like Facebook or Instagram, I cannot really show you on Blip what the house is like.
But it has loads more space for them all. A fact the children all love!
We were in Lichfield this afternoon for a long planned reunion with some close friends. The one next to Stephen on the left lives near us, and comes to tea after work on Tuesday’s.
The others are from Nottingham and the Wirral. David, who took the photo, also lives in Nottingham.
We went to a Mediterranean Restaurant and Bar called Ego, which is by the Minster Pool opposite the Cathedral.
Beautiful view.
The food was excellent.
When we arrived home at 5.00pm the family were here having their tea. They’d popped back to pick up some more of their things and use our Wi-Fi.
They won’t have internet access just yet.
They left about 5.30pm.
It was good to wave them off and know they were only just 6 minutes drive away.
We’ll be watching “Strictly Come Dancing” or rather it will be me, whilst Stephen reads! ;-)
I’ve been awake since 6.00am.
And was at the hairdressers at 8.30am. (They managed to fit me in at short notice!).
I’ll probably crash out before the evening is done!
