Look closely and you'll see that the history of evolution isn't quite being observed here :-)  Frieda, however, doesn't give a fig for all that and is just keen to supply imaginary breakfast to any creature within her reach.

I forgot to say anything, either in yesterday's entry or on Sunday, about the gig we went to on Sunday evening in Sheffield City Hall. Billy Bragg, on tour with his new album.  This was a birthday treat for Ruth, who will be 34 on Saturday. She and Josh love Billy Bragg and they're able to sing some of his songs together very beautifully, notably Handyman Blues. Here's BB's own version:

Billy Bragg was in excellent voice on Sunday, just playing with a keyboard player. There were many new songs, written during the pandemic; some of these didn't grab me as much many of his earlier ones, but there were some gems too.
