Akin

A long while since I’ve managed to get to Chimoio, the provincial capital of Manica in central-western Mozambique. This is the place for discussions with certain partners and the gateway to Chimanimani National Park. In late afternoon Chimoio had nice light.

I had an evening of drinks and food with key project partners here, with whom I’ve recently had to have some sensitive communications. We are on the same page about the way forward, which was a relief, as it’s a long time since I’ve managed to see them face to face.

It’s frustrating that internally on topics that I have managed to resolve with partners, my head is akin to a watermelon smashing against a concrete slab.
