~The Sky Beyond~

If I have a chance to include the blue sky behind the sunset clouds it becomes the obsession of the night. There were a number of photographs in my camera tonight with more oranges and reds in them, but with very little blue. This was because the clouds were fast moving this evening with that gap of sky disappearing very quickly. Only about five or so images contained that light indigo. The other fifty plus had diminishing amounts for sky peeking through, ending in a completely orange sky. I like having a variety of different colors in my photographs, adding depth and interest to what could be a rather garish and violent sunset image.
