Bristol Temple Meads

Home Sweet Home again. 2 fascinating nights at a close friend from my school days. She lives abroad, and has a small, but unique home in Bristol adjacent to her daughter.

J’s district is covered in graffiti. Some a joy to see, some not. Her front door is camouflaged in bright colours.

Was quite happy not to spend time in Bristol town centre (we had a break there a few years ago), preferring to remain in the neighbourhood and check out the architectural delights of the modest Victorian terraces, and the vast street murals and scribbles at every turn.

Delighted nevertheless to be back in my comfy bed, with my creature comforts. Will be an early night.

Blip is of the blistering paint on the Bristol station canopy (for Ingeborg’s Abstract Thursday challenge ‘Texture’)
