An ordinary life....

Welcome home...

Backblipped 25.11.21

Up sharp again this morning to be organised for another of Celia Henderson's online workshops on Photoshop and flower photography.  It's coming to the end of the second lot of workshops on this subject and I've enjoyed them so much I have signed up for part 3.  It starts on 5th December and will keep me out of mischief till February :-))

Not long after that finished Agnes arrived for lunch.  This Saturday she and Adrian are coming with D and me for a week in a lovely lodge overlooking the point where the River Tay meets the River Lyon, sort of half way between Aberfeldy and Kenmore.  We are really looking forward to getting away.

After lunch we got the travel arrangements sorted out (Agnes and Adrian will arrive at ours around 1.30pm and we will go to Delivino's for lunch before heading off to the lodge)  I've arranged a Tesco delivery at the lodge on Sunday morning so we only need to take some basic supplies to get us through Saturday evening...break, milk, gin, Prosecco, wine and rum apparently ;-))  We also got the Tesco shopping sorted.

While we were discussing that R brought Lola back.  She's been staying with him since Thursday when D went away.  She may have missed me dreadfully although I doubt it.but you would never know it as Agnes got all her attention, not that she was complaining.  She is delighted Lola is coming to the Lodge with us as she really misses having a dog.  Their spaniel Scamp had to be PTS three years ago and they still miss him dreadfully.  I am sure as soon as they retire a dog will once again be a part of their family.

Agnes left just after 5pm and was only gone five minutes or so when David returned.  He and the rest of the gang had a fantastic time and were really lucky with the weather.  David and Keith had even managed to bookend the break with a round of golf (different courses) so that added to the enjoyment.

Dinner and an episode of Outlander and as befits our age, we both dozed off and woke up rather confused as Lola barked to go outside for her last pee.  It was 2am!!!
