An ordinary life....

Strange weather...

Backblip

Up bright and early and downstairs in time for Kevin the painter arriving.

Had breakfast, made Kevin a cuppa and spent a little while downloading the videos and reference materials for the first exercise of Module E of my drawing course.  The medium for this module is pen and watercolour, so well within my comfort zone but the subjects to be drawn aren't.  First exercise is a tree frog.

Headed to the studio to give it a tidy up and get my materials ready.  Hopefully start the exercise tomorrow.

After lunch I emptied and reloaded the dishwasher, tidied the kitchen  and got organised for Lola coming home.  R was dropping her off after her second walk, just after 4pm.  She was a very soggy doggy when she returned.  R gave her a good dry with her towel then she settled in the boot room in her bed as D will need to give her a proper clean when he gets back  later.  R says she was an absolute angel and they're looking forward to having her back again next week while we're in Northumberland.

The weather had been really weird today.  The mist didn't really lift and when the sun tried to come out the whole atmosphere became rather eery.

D got home just after 7pm.  He and Keith enjoyed another round of golf at Silloth on their way home.  Had dinner then D told me all about his weekend.  It sounds like they all had a great time, with great weather, great food, great drink and great company.  Think they'll go back to the same house next year.
