a lifetime burning

Its Friday (hurrah) so time for another seasonal robin shot - ideally there would have been a layer of snow on the top of the piece of wood that it is perching on.  For all of 30 seconds I was tempted to see what could be managed with a software composite but then sanity prevailed ;-)

After the rather nice day yesterday, the weather today has been anything but.  If you managed to get out during a dry patch it was absolutely fine, but the showers in between, boy were they heavy.  At one stage hail left the ground white for 10 minutes or so.

Still I've managed to buy the Christmas tree and visit Dad amongst other jobs so all in all its been quite a productive day.

P.S. Many thanks for the very kind hearts and stars for yesterday's Marsh Harrier shot which are much appreciated.
