I missed the sun

I was able to park at the top of the hill as the road is still closed after a land slip, which actually happened last February.  It was supposed to reopen in October.  Anyway it meant I had a convenient place to park.  I just missed the sun on the hill opposite.  I tried chasing the bank of cumulus clouds that looked so spectacular as I left Silkstone Common on my way back from shopping, but I never found a place where I got a clear view and where they looked equally spectacular.  I guess they might have been the snow clouds on the way.  We have a winter wonderland this morning.  A real Christmas card scene.
