Downy woodpecker

Unfortunately, Jen and Jasons’s flight out of Las Vegas, was delayed for two hours due to mechanical problems - they ended up finding another plane for them - so they ended up having almost 5 hours in Las Vegas overnight! Having had some breakfast and coffee, Jason decided to head upstairs for a nap, but Jen came out with us for a walk at Long Branch Farm, where I captured the little Downy woodpecker, who was busy tapping away in a tree quite near the trail. So thankful for five of us around the table this evening!
