Rainy Day

Fortunately I managed to get a walk in before the rain started late morning. My son brought the grandchildren over and we had a fun indoor day - no tents though :-) (Although they did ask for it!)

I only managed a couple of quick shots on my walk this morning - this is a huge hilly tree that grows in my neighborhood and is always loaded with berries. You can see evidence of the heat damage from this summer. The birds always eat the berries in late winter and they’re literally gone in a few days.

I’m just back from dropping them off - now about 5:30 - so am headed to the couch with a book to decompress for a bit. Hope to catch up with your journals tonight!
