The weather was better this morning, cold but sunny and windless, so two members went off to Trefor Quarry to climb. For various reasons the rest of us didn't.

Instead we walked along the canal to the Llangollen Falls, somewhere I remembered walking to as a child when we had a family holiday on a narrow boat.

The hostel was a great place to stay and I think we'll be back. The only downside was that the parking was pay and display, although it was relatively cheap. There were two parking passes available at £2 per day, but that's not really enough.

We left Llangollen in fine weather and arrived back in the Midlands to a fair bit of snow.
