Everything was very crunchy when I set out over the road, across the cycle track, through the new estate they're building, over the road and into the fields. But just over an hour later, as I neared home, it was obvious the thaw had begun.

It's not very often we have snow in November so it was good to make the most of it, and I had a chat with a friend halfway round.
