Wound up in Wexford

Snow

We sat and admired the snow whilst eating our poached eggs this morning.  I doubt if the kingfisher was similarly entranced!  Quite big flakes, and lots of them for a while - but it didn't settle, and didn't last long.  By the time we had eaten up, it had stopped, and the little birds were on the feeders having their breakfast.

I've spent most of the day in the studio.  The Christmas tree wall hanging is finished - but it doesn't really look much different to yesterday, as the only visible change to the front is the binding round the edge.  Maybe I'll blip it when we put it up for our festive visitors from Sweden - always assuming their plans are not thrown into disarray by the Covid situation!

Once the fencing rails were taken yesterday, we still had on the oak terrace some wood that had been moved to enable the work on the boundary between us and the neighbours.  There were some long scaffold planks that we bought to bridge the pond when we wanted to clear some of the weed, and some random left over bits of "garden construction" wood.  It was all rather wet.  So today, W has moved it all into the garage to dry out.
