England Expects

several visitors to see the Kineton Christmas Tree Trail.

This is the 4th year the tree trail has run,  with the theme being On This Day in History.  Gill and I have chosen 21st October 1805, the battle of Trafalgar and Nelson's famous signal.

The trees are provided at cost price and we can decorate them as we choose - any date we like.  They should all be in place by Wednesday this week - and the trail stays in place until the end of December.  We're seen several being set up over the past few days.

Maps are sold in the village shops (£2.50) with the money going to a variety of local charities.  Kineton is easy to find your way around, just park by the church (CV35 0JX) and you'll be near the centre.  There is no competition this year ... there were too many good entries last year for one to be singled out.  I'll find out which shops have the maps and get a few spares for any local blippers who want to see the trail.

We are #67, there is a street light outside our house,  good if you want to see the flags,  not so good for anything like a reasonable white balance :-)
