Rainbow Sandwich

A vivid rainbow
sandwiched between grey morning
and bright afternoon

This vivid rainbow appeared just before we left the house for our walk, and hung around quite a while. It was the brightest, clearest one I've seen for a while, with both ends visible.

If you look closely at the sea's horizon in my Extra, you'll see precipitation happening. Luckily, the sky above us stayed dry, and so did we.
