Exhibition opening

Once upon a time (pre-pandemic) going to a gallery opening was a regular social event on a Friday night.

All that stopped with Covid.

So it was special treat to go to only our second in two years this evening to see the latest work of artist Fiona Clasen at the Smith museum and art gallery in Stirling.

Her art has a meditative quality and exudes a calming influence, something badly needed in our troubled times.

This year one piece of her work, part of the Interiors series pictured here, was selected for the Royal Academy annual exhibition and she is going down to London next week to see it for the first time in situ.
