PIZZA ON SILLY SATURDAY

We are all getting very excited because it’s not very long until Christmas! Now it’s only 21 or is it 20 sleeps - well whatever it is, it's going to be exciting!

You may remember that Mrs HCB is using Haikus from her friend, Kathryn, at the end of some of her Blips at the moment.  By the time you have read the Haiku for today, you will groan but it's very clever, so thank you again, Kathryn!

If you have never heard of anyone having pizza for breakfast, well you have now. You know that Mrs HCB likes to get her Blips done early in the day, and today is no exception.  We could smell the pizza cooking and got very excited, but wish that Hoggy was with us so that he could share it too but as you know, he has now gone into hibernation. Mind you the weather has been so grey, dull, and wet just lately we almost feel we would rather be in hibernation. However the HCBs have a lovely warm home so we are really comfortable here;  having pizza for breakfast is an added bonus and the sun has even come out.  We just wish you could smell this freshly cooked pizza - it is wonderful.  We are all ready with our forks and you can see that Reeth and Leyburn are both raring to go!

We think dear Admirer would be giggling if she could see us now, and of course today is especially in memory of her. We are thinking too, of her family, because at this time of the year it all seems much more poignant, when someone special is not with you.

We send our love to you all and hope that your preparations for the festive season are now in full swing - enjoy your day, whatever you are doing.

With love from

J H Ted, Tiny, Snowy, Penny Penguin, Leyburn and Reeth

P.S.  You all know Mrs HCB well, and because she couldn’t actually get a Deep Pan pizza, she had to do a little rearranging on the labels.

P.P.S.  Interesting fact - Mrs. HCB's birthday is actually on the Feast of Stephen - 26th December - neat eh?  Perhaps we should have more "deep pan, crisp and even" pizzas for her birthday!
