Lack of forethought?

I thought I recognised it:-
"Ricinus communis" = Castor Oil plant.
One is bound to wonder if all varieties are equally toxic?  Three were mentioned at the site I read.

"Ricin is a lectin and a highly potent toxin produced in the seeds of the castor oil plant, Ricinus communis. The median lethal dose of ricin for mice is around 22 micrograms per kilogram of body weight via intraperitoneal injection. Oral exposure to ricin is far less toxic. An estimated lethal oral dose in humans is approximately 1 milligram per kilogram of body weight."
AND
"All parts of Ricinus communis are highly toxic so it’s very important to wear gloves when handling – it can irritate skin and eyes."

This specimen is in a part of the town I've shot before and badly tagged, but easily  reachable by kids and animals.
