Fifty Shades

………………a largely wet, cold and miserable day!

Last night it rained…and rained, then rained some more! There was substantial flooding in the area…largely an aftermath to last weeks storm as all the culverts and storm drains were still filled with debris so there was nowhere for the rainwater to go. Many of those recently reconnected to power woke to find they were without again. I’d had quite a bit of ingress through the patio doors on the Juliet balcony…going to have to source someone to look at it sooner rather than later.

Little one decided to start his day about 5.30am this morning…there was definitely a grumpy granny in the house! I walked over to Berwick with him late morning when he had the audacity to have an hours nap; had lunch with them then we all went up to the Christmas market. Things were fairly busy given the weather and road conditions and I managed to get a couple of presents.

My blip was snapped enroute to Berwick in the rain this morning, thankfully I got a lift home again this afternoon.
