The berry thief II

Today was as grey as yesterday was sunny and bright so we busied ourselves with indoor tasks, mainly decorating the living room tree.  I did take a break this afternoon to have a lovely long chat with my longest standing friend T.  In past years we have always had a pre Christmas visit to one house or another but somehow this year we have failed to organise it and so have agreed that we will postpone a visit until after Christmas.  We both agreed that we're suffering a bit from 'Covid fatigue' (the restrictions, not the actual virus) and a slight concern that if we arrange something, it might at the last minute have to be unarranged.
Meanwhile back in our garden, creatures have to eat and today it was the squirrel who climbed the hawthorn to get him (her)self a snack.  As usual taken through glass and rather a distance away but you get the idea.
