Taking liberties

Since we bought our lovely velvety settees and chairs, I have managed to keep Peggy Sue from sitting on any of them...until a couple of days ago.  She suddenly decided that her 'rights' should be restored and that she should be able to resume her place either on the seat or the back of her favourite chair and it is there that you see her now.  The rather pretty bokeh background is a reflection of the tree lights in the window.
In other news: Omicron, the coronavirus variant is continuing to spread here in the UK as well as worldwide.  Still no definite answers as to its severity or response to current vaccines.  In the meanwhile, we keep plodding on with the decorating of our house for the festive season.
