Day 259 Hunkering down

A day of miserable weather and not achieving very much apart from watching Christmas films and of course His Dark Materials this evening.  Peggy Sue continues to use her donut bed now that the temperatures have dropped, possibly because it is positioned in front of a cosy open fire!

In other news:the first Covid-19 vaccine is due to arrive in the UK tomorrow ( some may even have arrived today) and the programme of vaccination is due to start on Tuesday. There are lots of logistical complications to over come: it needs to be kept at an incredibly low temperature and it comes in batches of 975 doses which may or may not be able to be divided up into smaller batches.
