Wild wet morning!

I took this at one of our local Garden Centres mid morning.
I’d just popped in for one or two things, having driven through driving rain, mixed with a bit of sleet. The roads were awash in certain places with passing cars throwing up great swooshes of water onto the pavements.
Woe betide it if you happened to be walking along at those particular spots!
I didn’t think it would ever become properly daylight, but just now after lunch there have been one or two (very infrequent) glimpses of sunshine.
Everything in the garden is sodden.
There were 22 Goldfinches in the Rowan tree earlier, sounding like an aviary of budgerigars!
A “Charm” of Goldfinches to give them their lovely collective name.
It’s now post lunch so I’d better get moving!
Thinking of Blipper Marlene, Rags49, as those of us on blip who follow her are becoming concerned she hasn’t posted for a week.
Hope she is soon back with us all again. It’s been so very tough for her for awhile.
