if you go down to the woods today

On my walk I met D with his loppers, tackling a branch which had fallen during Storm Arwen last week. I'm hoping that there won't be many others coming down tomorrow in the high winds which are forecast for this part of the world.

Two walks today, to make the most of the lovely sunshine and because I'm back at work tomorrow. I've made the tea tonight - a nut roast with sprouts, potatoes and parsnips, and a blackberry and apple crumble. As I missed out on blackberry-picking this year, Joanna very kindly picked some for me and kept them in her freezer until I wanted to cook with them. Thanks, Joanna!
