The Shining

Monday started with a 'coffee and chat' get-together with a group from the church in a local garden centre. It was the first time we had tried this since lockdown in March 2020 and, judging by the chatter around the various tables, it seemed to be a success.

The downside was that I was left with only a short afternoon of daylight to get to the shops for some bread and milk and grab a walk into the bargain. No problem, as a quick drive over to Denny and a wander round Chacefield Wood killed both birds with the same stone.

The sun even made an appearance, shining through the trees at Chacefield before disappearing off to our Southern Hemisphere friends for another day.
