Poof, and it was gone

I took this in rather a hurry this morning as there wasn’t time to linger and it quickly disappeared. It was the best part of the day weatherwise because unusually it was a very overcast day. The taxi driver was on time and took us to the pharmacy where we took our antigen tests and soon received our negative results. It was raining very lightly as we got on the ferry, not the one we usually catch and the windows were dirty and there was nothing to see. We then stopped for a nice meal in Tenerife before catching the bus to the airport. After handing over what seemed like a lot of paperwork with our passports we then waited for our gate to be called. You have to be photographed and have your passport stamped now as we are third class citizens and Tenerife now has built another terminal, maybe just for us Brits. We got on the plane and were pleased to see we had three seats between us the same as our journey over. The pilot told us we would be having a quick journey home of 3 1/2 hours and there would be some turbulence on landing but really we have experienced much worse. As we were hand luggage only, we were first through customs although we had to wait a little while for our taxi. Phew, not so bad a day as expected and we seemed to miss the worst of the storm although I can hear it’s windy out there again to night.
