Bugs galore

Exam supervision this morning and both students were through by 11.00 which meant I had a nice long afternoon to look forward to :)  Lots of time in the garden, firstly with lunch then doing some gardening.  Lovely to have the sun on my back after all the wet and cool weather we've been having.  A totally free day tomorrow with no supervisions scheduled - I feel a wee trip out may be on the cards as well as a bit more gardening.  The rain may have been a pain for me but it's been a Godsend for the garden.  This wee thing arrived on a leaf as I was photographing another fly to go with yesterdays.  A cute wee chap but he didn't stay around very long.  Couldn't resist adding another rather grotesque close up of a fly too - he's in extras.

In COVID news, 90 community cases reported today, 74 in hospital, 6 in ICU.  Nationally 88% of eligible people are now fully vaxed.  Locally, there was 1 new case today, linked to an existing case, and 1 person has recovered giving an active case total of 20.
