The elf has arrived...

Tinsel the elf first made an appearance last week of course but that went unrecorded.  This morning Violet came downstairs  to discover that she (definitely a girl according to V) had made rather a mess while trying to do snow angels in the flour!
Today is Mr MC's birthday which we marked at lunchtime by having lunch with our friends A and B and in the evening dinner with the family, cooked by daughter #2.  In between the two meals, Boris addressed the nation to announce  that Plan B will now happen in an effort to stop the spread of Omicron.  Do follow my link if you want to know more!
