And then there was one!

This is the sole survivor of the cut flowers that I bought over two weeks ago. I've pasted it on to a background of today's morning sky - or one moment in the ever-changing skies, for Flower Friday with thanks, as ever, to host Anni.

We had a lovely walk in strong, chilly winds, but not bitterly cold, nor gale-force. Managed to keep dry from two short downpours, sheltering, first, behind a tree, and the second time, in the doorway of a cowshed. (The occupants soon lost interest in us, and we didn't stay long.)

The Christmas Pudding hats arrived chez Family B and our daughter sent us lots of lovely photos as well as a delightful recorded 'thank you' message from LMB. (Apparently she picked out the one for her doll first, saying, "Me want put it on your head, Annie dolly.") Worth every stitch of effort! Thankfully, they all fit. LMB's only concern otherwise was that there wasn't one for Daddy. Not totally convinced he'd want to wear one ... but I don't have enough yarn left, so it's academic. (See Extra for LMB and Annie dolly in their hats.)

Friday already: a Friday full of rainbows that culminated in sunshine, all showers gone! Have a good weekend, blipmates.
