Nossa Senhora

Our Lady.

I set off early back to Maputo, passing Ponta’s church on the way to the chapa (minivan) stop. The first chapa broke down close to the gate of Maputo Special Reserve, after having just seen giraffes in the distance (probably the same herd as I’d seen on Sunday). There are less peaceful places to break down, so it wasn’t a cause for concern. A replacement chapa was sent for and we eventually lumbered into Maputo just in time to drink a coffee and make my first meeting with the UK office waking up for the day.
