Swinging Santa

Pat suggested that we go out for Breakfast today.

We enjoyed a fine brunch at Longparke Farm Shop and Cafe. We have been before and the staff are a friendly and talented group.

Covid restrictions are in force which is always good to see.

Today’s Blipfoto which shows Santa (on a swing) is really about the Christmas Tree suspended from the steel frame of the cafe building.

We then drove home via a tour around the Dundee Kingsway, calling in at Hobbycraft to pick up some art supplies. Another store where Covid restrictions are rigorously enforced.

Also served by an excellent knowledgeable staff.

Surprised to discover that Channel 4  were broadcasting the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix live. It is the last event of the season.

Verstappen and Hamilton on equal points! The event was spoiled by the FIA race director who looks to have been inconsistent in his interpretation of regulations throughout the season.

It is a foregone conclusion that the decisions will be contested in court over the next few weeks.

Whatever the result, I suspect the FIA race director will be looking for new work next year.

Pat was reasonably happy with the Strictly Result.
