Election Day

I went to vote in the by election at a hall in the village. The electioneering hasn’t stopped. When I got up this morning there were leaflets through the door and F was woken at 4.30am by leaflets dropping through his letterbox.

The amount of literature that we’ve had must have been responsible for the felling of a forest which shows how crucial the vote is.

A neighbour was taking electoral numbers and she said that voting numbers appear to be high so that’s good.

I’ve finished writing my Christmas cards today and put mine up on strings in the living room and decorated the Christmas tree. I’m pleased to have got a few things done towards Christmas.
