Lavender

A busy day this morning I finished the cards and presents for posting and then went to a lunchtime Pilates class.  Our son had his booster jab in the morning at the local doctors avoiding all the queues at the moment.  Our daughter and son in law haven't yet managed to book at booster in their new home.  Having a young child they are reluctant to queue for hours at a drop in clinic.  

After lunch I went for a walk around Bicton gardens with a friend.  It was very quiet with hardly anyone around which was rather nice.  We visited some of the indoor greenhouses where I took this shot of a lavender flower.  It was just around sunset as we headed back home and took a detour by the beach in the hope of a sunset shot but it didn't look very promising.

Now its back to the other Christmas tasks such as making a chestnut stuffing to freeze ahead and getting round to looking at photos for a late calendar.
