Out to lunch. Our favourite pub.

People are generally checking in and wearing masks until seated.
It’s so good to be out to lunch.
We both have our Covid Passports on the NHS App
Lovely to see open fires and the buzz and hum of conversation around tables. Mainly families and older people, like us ;-).
Somehow just for a short while it feels “normal”.
All the staff are masked.
Tables are well spread out.
Takes the edge of the suggestions that a two week Lockdown is on the horizon where people will no longer be able to gather in their homes. And only groups of 6 outside.
I was chatting to someone only the other day who was saying how much it had affected a younger member of the family.
Praying the predictions about this new virus are unfounded in the end. And we all weather the storm.
